Jennifer Davis

Co-director, visual art

Jennifer Davis is a visual artist and art educator in Logan County. She has taught at the elementary, middle and high school levels at Benjamin Logan Schools. Mrs. Davis enjoys facilitating art club as well, often focusing on service projects with students. Mrs. Davis received her Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and her Master’s degree in Integrated Teaching and Learning from The Ohio State University. Jennifer has served on boards for the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education and for LoCo Art, along with serving in various director roles for the Ohio Art Education Association. Mrs. Davis has received numerous awards as an art educator from the Ohio Art Education Association, the National Art Education Association, the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation and Logan County recognitions. Grant writing has become a passion for Mrs. Davis, allowing for artists and program opportunities at school and in the community.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Myles Bowers

Co-Director, music

Myles Bowers is a Logan County musician and educator. He teaches Jazz Bands/Combos, Music Technology, Music Theory, and American Popular Music classes at Benjamin Logan High School. Mr. Bowers received his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Bluffton University and his Master's degree in Jazz Pedagogy from Capital University. He also serves as past-president of the Jazz Education Connection of Ohio, leads Bellefontaine's community big band The Fountainaires, and as a performer on trumpet plays regularly with his jazz combo group. Mr. Bowers' professional affiliations include: OMEA (Ohio Music Education Association), JECO (Jazz Education Connection of Ohio), JEN (Jazz Education Network), and ITG (International Trumpet Guild). He is excited to be serving Logan County’s youth through the arts!
