Art with Duarte

LoCo Art, in partnership with Our Daily Bread, presents four days of painting and mixed media art with guest artist Richard “Duarte” Brown. Students going into grades 5-12 for the 24-25 School year may join the workshop series. Paintings on canvas will be created for the new building/dining area which houses Our Daily Bread of Bellefontaine. Students will also create artwork for themselves to take home. Join us for the opportunity to work with the joyful and gifted artist Duarte, and an opportunity to work as community artists!

Our June 24 - 27 workshop series requires registration. Please see information below:

WHERE: LoCo Art Studio - 127 East Columbus Avenue Bellefontaine, Ohio

WHO: Logan County students entering grades 5-12

WHEN: 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 24 - Thursday, June 27

WHAT: Students will learn painting and mixed media skills from Duarte. Paintings on canvas will be created for the community project. Paintings will also be created for students to take home.

There is no fee for student participation. Thank you to Our Daily Bread for funding the art materials!

Students are responsible for transportation to and from the LoCo Art Studio. Additional information will be communicated once the program’s roster is finalized.
